Vice Dean Hu Lin has accumulated rich engineering experience in the process of production practice. At the same time, he is also a teacher in the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University. He has deep thoughts on basic undergraduate teaching and the development trend of the construction industry. At the symposium, Hu Lin believed that the development of the construction industry needs to attach importance to basic undergraduate teaching, promote the mutual cooperation and integration of disciplines, and realize one specialty and multiple abilities. At the same time, we should start from the practical needs and make the development of the subject adapt to the development needs of the society. For Yunnan, urban renewal and rural planning are very important. The college should combine the advantages of agricultural colleges to solve the problems of rural infrastructure construction and industrial development planning, so as to achieve results. He indicated that in the future engineering practice, the cooperation between the two sides could be strengthened through teachers' participation and students' practice.
